The Patriot
Originally created in 2017 following the acquisition of Midwest Automotive Designs by publicly traded REV Group, Inc., the Patriot was designed to complement REV Group’s highest-end Class-A brand, American Coach. Modeled after the renowned Passage, the Patriot brings unparalleled luxury and advanced technology to the market.
Built upon the legendary Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, the Patriot continues the legacy of excellence established by Midwest Automotive Designs. It features exquisitely crafted wood interiors and custom seating that exemplify unmatched fit and finish. The Patriot incorporates cutting-edge technology, including the pioneering Freedom Package introduced in 2016, which was the first lithium system to eliminate the need for propane gas.

Midwest Story
Established in 2000, Midwest Automotive Designs embarked on a mission to craft luxury personal use conversions on the Mercedes Sprinter platform. Our journey commenced with the introduction of the Business Class and Weekender models.
These groundbreaking vehicles, utilizing the Sprinter chassis, made their debut at the prestigious 2001 SEMA Show, marking the innovative approach to luxury conversion vans.

In designing the Passage, Midwest thought of everything. The sleeping compartment is comfortable, plenty of storage space, and love the cooking/food storage arrangements. Most important, a special shoutout to the customer service department. Have been in several situations where they have come to my rescue. The service is always over and beyond. No complaints, no regrets.”

“I’ve had my Patriot for over two years. With almost 200 nights camping, it’s been a great RV. The extra-bonus you get by purchasing a Midwest van is their quarterly owner’s rallies. I’ve attended two “MAD About You Tour” rallies. Both were awesome. Both had their own themes. And in both MAD went all-out to provide courtesy repairs and parts installed by their factory Techs and group education seminars to learn how to use the van (inverter, lithium batteries, firefly, audio/visual system, etc.). Can’t say enough about the support that MAD has provided to the Mad about you Rally. From the dinner, to the vendor support onsite to the repairs. It’s definitely worth attending a rally sponsored by MAD.”
